Needed a new basic phone ( secondary ), went to a local provider ( Verizon )
and they sold me a VX4650. The sales person told me it was better than a
basic phone and I could add my own pictures to the image area and use it as
a modem for internet on dial-up, cable or DSL, sold me a cord kit to use
with the PC, so far all I seem to be able to do is charge the phone with
this cable. Am I missing something, or did I get screwed or can I add my
own picture to the image area and access a cable based service for the net?
Thanks.

Just Joe

I believe bitpim will work with your phone.. Check at:
http://bitpim.sourceforge.net/#download

Bitpim is free open source software that is constantly being updated and
works very well...
It should allow you to transfer your phonebook, pictures, sounds, etc
between your phone and PC.
