What he actually meant is that the service centre you called is quite a low
level one (level one probably) and can't do the job

I'm not sure if F-Bus by Maestro supports the 3220, but if it doesn't,
anyone with access to a decent fashing solution (UFS, Twister, JAF, Griffin
etc.) would be able to reset the sec code in a few seconds - try a local
independent phone shop that does unlocks.

No. If the phone gets sent back to Nokia they send just the phone and
remove SIM cards, fascias and batteries prior to sending them.
