Author LG VX-4650 question

I have a new LG VX4650. I must access the numerical signal strength
indication to aim my yagi in remote areas to which I travel (and
camp). That screen is accessible via
"MENU"..."0"..."000000"..."2"..."1".

The only way that I have found to turn the cellphone off or back to a
normal operating mode from that screen is to remove and replace the
battery.

I asked LG and Verizon. You can guess how useless their responses
were.

can anyone help me in determining how to resume normal phone operation
without removing the battery?

thank you,
Craig
