Saving SMS from V220

Hi, How the hell do i save sms from my V220 that are on the phone, i've got
loads of software but it only accesses the sms messages on the simm card, i
need to get the ones stored in the phone onto my pc, i can't even save them
from the phone to the simm. If they were on the simm i can do it easily, but
they aren't. This is driving me mad, i can edit seems, change settings,
upload and download music, ringtones, video, even see the system root folder
on my phone but i can't find any software that will display (never mind
save) the text messages stored in my phone ( I have 20+).
