| i pickup a ge 26928ge2 900mhz coreless phone.
found that the unit has NiCd batteries.
since nicd batteries have a memory, it is best to let the phone battery
continue to run dry before recharging
or should it be left in the recharger when not being used.

Leaving them in the charger should be sufficient.

That whole "memory" thing is a myth, at least as far as consumer devices are
concerned. However, if you want to increase the life of your batteries,
charge them as often as possible, and never completely discharge them.
