I've had this phone for a week.Phone was fine last night,
thios morning it's saying UNLOCK by the left soft key.
No code will unlock it, the Sprint store has a machine
they can attach the phone to and they couldn't unlock it.

Has anyone had an experience like this? Could you ulock the phone? Sprint's
offered to replace the phone as I've only had it for 8 - 9 days but there
must be somw way to do a hard reset while it's locked.

"no code will unlock it"?

Have you tried 0000,000000, the last 4 of your phone #, the last 4 of
your social?

You need the master reset code to unlock your phone. I have a litlle
tool for nokia smartphones which generates master reset code, but not
for SP-i600...
