Fraudulent TXT Message - Verizon Billing

| I received the following TXT message on my mobile phone this
afternoon:
"Please call Verizon Wireless at 800-754-0961 or press the send key on
your phone regarding your account. This is a free text message. From:
900080003458"
The 800 number is not Verizon and when you hit send, it appears to
dial a 900 number. I caught it before the 900 call went through, but
what's with the number of digits? It's more than 10 but doesn't appear
to be international.
I reported it to Verizon, but they didn't seem particularly
interested.

Probably because they do not support 900 number dialing - NONE of the cell
companies do.
