Getting pics off a SCHG-a950?

I have a new Samsung SCH-a950 that so far seems to be a nice phone.
However, Verizon in their infinite greed has disabled the phone in order to
force people to use their "$crew Ne Now" service in order to use it to it's
potential. If I have a data cable and a driver, is there a way to get pics
off of this phone and onto my computer?

Lookup bitpim, its a sourceforge project. Let me know if you have any
luck. I also would like to know where you got the data cable from.
