How to write a program for LG VX6000 cell phone?

I recently bought an USB cable that connects my LG VX6000 cellular
phone to PC. I downloaded a program that saves address list from cell
phone on PC, but I want to write my own program, that will also save
pictures and sound.
Does anyone know how to access a sound and pictures from the cell
phone?
The program I prefer to write in PowerBuilder, but I can write also in
VB, Java or C++.
