Author All Motorola chargers the same ?

I have several Motorola chargers, from past phones ... all with the same
little multi-pin "fishhook" type of plug that goes into the phone. Can I
use any of them with any of the new phones that take that plug ...
physically ? Are all these chargers and phones all electrically compatible
?

Thanks,

-RS-

Yes. However there are many different charge rates, so the charge time
will vary. Nextel chargers can also be used.

The older Nextel Chargers will work fine. However the newer ones will not
as /\/\otorola has changed the pin spacing. I am guessing that too many
people were keeping their old accessories and sales were low so they changed
it a little...

If the plug fits properly, yes. For example, when I swapped my v60 for a
v600 I could use all my old accessories. However, when I went to a v3, I
needed new ones. Now my new v3i uses all the v3 stuff I have.

Not necessarily -- my two phones are a V330 and a V188, both T-Mobile, both
introduced within the past year, both completely different chargers. V188 a
generic single plug, V330 (and V300) the two-pronged thing. --Mark

There are different plugs for different models but the point is that if
the plug fits, it's OK to use the charger from another model. Moto is
migrating to the generic mini USB on its newer phones like the v3.
