Are there any mobile with audio only capture?
|
|
|
| Just about ever mobile worth its salt has video capture, but no audio
capture, why?
I can think of a million and one uses for a dictation machine which happens
to be a mobile. From shopping lists to notes about the last conversation.
Add blue tooth and you can down load to your comp for play back, add a
memstick and you can pass it to your secretary for presentation. Not to
mention the poets and song writers out there, with a momentary inspiration
and no means to record it.
So what happened to the design thought in this area.
Please tell me there are mobiles with audio only capture, anyone?

All GSM phones I had over the last 5 years had this feature.
In the moment I use the Motorola V3 RAZR which can do it too.
I think most of the modern phones have this feature.

thanks...
Its strange that this feature isn't played up in the promotions.
I'm on the look out for a mobile which can effectively double as
a Dictaphone.
A neat feature would allow me to capture environmental sounds
for download to my comp.

But beware, the sound quality is that of a DICTAPHONE.
I'm not sure that this will be good enough for you wanna use it.
