Switching phone to different company

| Any idea on how to keep this phone and switch to another service? It's a
Motorola flip style phone and using Tracfone now. Reception is really bad
and I would like to change to another one but want to keep this phone.

| Well, that sounds good -- I've got verizon here.
Does that mean all I have to do is take the phone to a verizon store and
they'll convert it to their network?
