Cell phone w/ good vibrate mode
|
|
|
| I have a motorola 815. It is frequently missing calls, yet will signal me to
let me know I have missed a call. This is on ring or vibrate mode.
At my work, I can't have it on ring, so I'm relying on vibrate, and this
phone has a wimpy (when it works) vib. mode. My service or I should say lack
of servcice provider is Verizon. I will be changing carriers when my
contract expires, so I'm wondering if anyone knows of phones that have an
effective vib mode?
Thanks...

| I have the 815 and use vibrate only while I'm at work. It works like it's
supposed too but it also depends where I put the phone. If I place it in my
breast pocket I get 100% response. If it's in my pants pocket then I miss
some calls because the phone isn't always pressing against my thigh when I
walk around. If I put it in the hip pouch I can't always feel it vibrate.
Don't know what else to say. You may have to experiment. I know someone who
wears their cell on a neck cord and drops the phone down his shirt. He says
he's never missed a call :)

All the LGs do.
They are the only phones that have volume buttons on the side of the phone.
Keep pressing the down one until it goes to vibrate mode.
