I am shopping around for a good Prepaid Wireless service and I came across
STI Wireless.

I was looking for experiences in dealing with this service both good and
bad.

I haven't done business with them, but keep in mind that there is no
roaming from the Sprint network under the STI plan. I've confirmed that
with them by email. So if you wander out of the Sprint network, rather
than roaming over to Verizon or some other carrier, your phone simply won't
work at all. Depending on your needs, that may be fine, but I would
suggest you study the Sprint coverage map, and think about where you might
need to use the phone.

On the surface it looks like a good deal. Last I looked, you get a rebate
for essentially the entire cost of the phone, and the rates are pretty
reasonable.

Please let us know what you end up doing, and how well it goes.

It basically has the same big limitation as Virgin, no roaming off of
the Sprint system. When you have real Sprint from Sprint you are able to
roam onto other networks in the many areas where Sprint has no network.

For prepaid GSM, with roaming, you'll have to look elsewhere.

Of course I meant for prepaid CDMA, with roaming, you'll have to look
elsewhere.
