I want a nokia phone as small as the 8265i, but that phone is ancient.
what's newer and as small, by Nokia?

Say what? Sure it does. There are CDMA phones, GSM phones, etc. Also,
there phones with different frequencies depending on your part of the
world. To issue a reply like that is just beyond nuts.

Hello!

It seems, that your cellular network operator works in TDMA band. It seems,
that Nokia doesn't plan to release new models for TDMA carriers, however
there are still some 'modern' phones availalble:

Nokia 6560 http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/6560
Nokia 3560 http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/3560
Nokia 3520 http://www.nokiausa.com/phones/3520

PS: please, contact your cellular network operator before changing the
handset to another one.
