Hi from Germany,
a friend of mine is going to Mexico for an internship - in Monterrey.
Is there anybody who knows about a prepaid SIM Card for her triband GSM
Phone?
Does anybody know about somebody shipping there SIM cards prior to her
travel to Germany?
Any hints kindly appreciated,
Thanks
Christian

Go to http://www.prepaidgsm.net go to operators/North America/Mexico

You can get prepaid through Movistar or Telcel

If you get the cards in Mexico you'll pay 300 pesos including 200
pesos of credit. You can get an account through Telestial
<http://www.telestial.com> and have the SIM sent to you but you'll
pay 700 pesos (US$69) or over twice as much. The only advantage to
using Telestial is that you'll have the telephone number in advance
which starts with the numbers 664. If paying more than twice the
amount of the service is worth it to you use Telestial. Otherwise
you're better off waiting til you get to Mexico to purchase a prepaid
account.
