BLC-3: Thicker than the others. Does it store more?

BLC-1 vs BLC-2: They look the same. Seem tb interchangeable. Diff?

BMC-2 vs BLC-2: Again, look the same, seem tb interchangeable...

I think I've got part of it:
----------------------------
BLC-1 = 825 mAh Lithium Ion
BLC-2 = 950 mAh Lithium Ion

BMC-3 = 900 mAh NiMh
----------------------------

But it still begs a question: Can I cook one of these batteries by putting it in
the wrong phone (charging circuit...)?
