I have a T-Mobil phone in the US. Can I buy a sim card in Canada that
will work with my phone so I can have a Montreal telephone number and
thus use the local service instead of roaming?

Thanks for your help.

If your phone is unlocked, you might be able to trick a Rogers or Fido
rep into selling you a prepaid SIM. It will probably cost nearly as
much as buying a prepaid phone with a SIM, and will be less satisfying
then smashing the phone on a display case in the store.
