"For the full fiscal year, Lucent earned $527 million, or 11 cents per
share, down from $1.19 billion, or 24 cents per share, in fiscal 2005.
Sales fell 7 percent to $8.80 billion from $9.44 billion in the prior
year."
Note: Lucifer switched its fiscal year to end Sept. 30, and have it
begin in the
normal 4Q, when sales typically peaked, in order for their numbers to
look better.
"Foreign sales dropped 14 percent to $789 million, mainly due to a 37
percent plunge in wireless product sales and much lower sales in the
Asia-Pacific region."
What are these global resources in Mumbai and Peking working on ??? JG

And...? What's your point?
The people who pay Lucent/Alcatel/whatever the MOST money for service
aren't the individuals who are likely to read the newsgroups.
You're constantly offtopic (at least for the carrier newsgroups, perhaps
not so much so for .cdma and .gsm) and when I've pointed that out to you,
you've gotten REALLY nasty with me.
So Lucent fired you. Deal with it. Go get yourself another job already.

Probably doing more actual work than you are.
