| Hi,
I've been using a Belkin BT USB dongle with my Sony Errickson T610 with no
problems for some time now. I use Floats Mobile Agent to sync contracts,
send SMS etc whilst I'm at the PC and have had no problems making this
combination work with XP Pro and SP2 - until yesterday.
I upgraded FMA to the latest version and just started getting 'Connection
Failed!' error messages. I then checked the Belkin software which listed the
T610 and the computers name was listed as a device in the phone. While all
this was going on Windows update also installed an update on the PC (not
sure if this had anything to do with the problem).
Anyhow, I went back to a restore point before I upgraded FMA and still no go
just the connection failed message. Since then I've tried re-installing the
Belkin SW and USB dongle but now the phone can not detect the PC and vice
versa. I've checked and made sure that both the 'puter and phone are in
discoverable mode and that I've loaded the correct (latest) drivers for the
dongle - still no go.
I've serached the web and the FMA forums but still no go on solving this
problem.
Please can someone suggest how I might get BT working properly?
