Question: When I wanna use my HS-850 I just open the V3 and go to communications and select the HS-850 previously paired and it asks if I wanna turn it on temporarily. It does the call fine and when it ends and I close the boom the call ends and then wh
at? Do I hafta shut off the bluetooth on the V3 or is all OK like that? I don't wanna consume battery life if I'm not gonna use BT. By the way, I have had the BT headset for most part of a year and hardly ever used it since the volume was too low for t
he car, etc. Well, I just edited the gain table as shown on howardforums.com and the volume is great and clear now...yipppeeee!

Glad you found the gain table hack. Makes a world of difference in the
volume in the mic and headset.
I have mine set up to "always ask" when I open up the boom on the HS850.
When I'm done with the headset, it disconnects and turns off the V3
Bluetooth.
