Apologies in advance for asking such simple questions...

Can Bluetooth devices use SMS between them without going through their
telecomm providers' networks? I'm trying to test Mobiluck with an SPV C500
and my Windows XP laptop. There really doesn't seem to be much software
available for Windows XP/Bluetooth. Also, I'm using the 'trial' version of
Mobiluck, in which SMS is disabled - and seems to be (as a product) largely
undocumented.

Any help appreciated and welcomed.
