Re: Problem with Logitech Mobile Freedom & Sony T630

| Hi,
Just to follow up on a problem I reported with my Logitech Mobile Freedom
headset and a Sony Ericsson T630 mobile phone, here:

I've now got a Motorola HS850 headset, and it just works. No disconnects
after a call has completed - it stays *fully* connected, so that an incoming
call rings the headset immediately. Also, if I happen to have the headset
off (boom closed) when a call comes in, I can flip it open and it connects
rapidly, allowing me to use the headset to answer the call. I'm not trying
to blame the Logitech, but just to let you know that the T630 seems to work
better with this new Motorola headset.

Sorry, I was mistaken. Whilst it does appear to connect after opening the
boom during an incoming call, I can't actually answer the call. It doesn't
matter how many times I press the button on the headset - the phone just
keeps on ringing. The headset must be on *before* the call comes in for it
to work. (at least with the T630)

| Dang. The Motorola headset isn't working all that well. Sometimes it just
doesn't answer the call, no matter how many times I press the button. At
least with the Logitech headset, I know that it will always answer if it's
connected. :(
Next step is to try a firmware upgrade of the T630.

| Replaced phone with a Nokia 6230 - problems vanished. I'll be selling my
T630.
