Author What speeds should I expect for Bluetooth?

Having just upgraded to a Motorola v3x, I tried transferring three MP3 from
my computer to the phone via Bluetooth.

The MP3s had a total size of around 15Mb and the transfer took approximately
50 minutes.

I know nothing about how fast it should be, but I found this disappointingly
slow. Is this the best I can expect or should I be looking at my settings
or equipment?

That's pretty slow. Earlier this morning, I transferred three movies
from my RAZR and it took maybe 10 seconds (using OS X).
