Can the Voyager 510 really filter out background noise?

| Hi,
I am considering to buy a Plantronics Voyager 510. The reason that this
headset seems attractive is that it is supposed to have advanced
background noise cancellation. BTW, there are two flavors for this
device. Model A is the earlier version that does not have the advanced
wind cancellation and the there is the Model G that does have it. Can
anyone please say if this headset actually does the work? If you can
hold conversation while driving or in a mall with background noise.

| I have several of them that I have been using for several months. Nobody has
complained about noise and I use them in the car outside and in the office
they work quite well.
