| I recently got the new LG VX8700 (stainless steel is nice!) and bought
a new Motorola H500 Headset on Ebay just to have a headset to use
occasionally. Everything appears correct on the settings and
following the steps. I go to the Bluetooth menu on the phone, it find
and recognizes the H500, it pairs successfully, then the phone askes
if I want to connect and I click Yes and it connects. Within 2-3
seconds without doing a thing and with the headset sitting right
beside the phone, I get a message on the phone saying that the headset
is either powered off or out of range.
The headset is still flashing the blue light so I know it's powered
on, and it's within an inch of the phone so it's not out of range. If
I try to connect again I get the same message over and over. I can't
do anything until I power cycle the headset and then I can pair and
connect fine but within a few seconds the phone looses connection
again.
Bluetooth is new to me so can anyone give me some insight as to what
might be happening here????
Thanks,
Scott
