mp3 on car radio via phone
|
|
|
| Hi
My goal is to play mp3 songs (that are on my cel phone) on my car radio.
I have no experience at all, i don't have a bluetooth phone or car radio
yet. That's why I am wondering if anyone here has experience in that field.
Is it possible? Is it fast enough, clear enough,...? Even without taking
my phone out of my pants or briefcase?

If you car radio has a cassette player or a stereo input jack then you may
be able to do this.
But it depends which phone you have as to whether you can do it.
With my N70, I would use:
NokiaAufio Adaptor ad-15 http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/6693.htm to give
me a 3/5 mm audio adaptor and then somthing like
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7062.htm to go from that into my cassette
player or use this, http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/product/7594.htm, to plug
from the ad-15 into my car radio which has an audio adaptor plug on the
front.
I got half way through this and then read you wanted to do it wirelessly,
so......
To do this wirelessly - bluetooth? - would kill the battery life and I'm
not sure how you would retain control of the phone to select the misuc you
wanted to play. I suppose the question is, would a radio like this,
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Parrot-Rhyt.../dp/B000E151BS,
allow a blutooth phone to stream music to it in the same way that it streams
phone audio to it.
Not a clue......
Not sure any of this is useful and I'm tempted to hit delete, but I
didn't......

Thanks for the info. I've read some stuff on the net about it. It seems to
be possible. I was just wondering if someone here has some experience in
this case. About the batery life, I think that is the biggest problem...

Sony and Pioneer have car hifi equipment that allow you to use bluetooth
to stream music from a phone to the car hifi.
The Sony is called a MEX2000 and MEX1500 or similar. I do not know the
model number from Pioneer.

I Bought a sony MTX-5000 I think It is was, I LOVE IT! I pair it with
my LG choclate cell phone. It makes it work like i have onstar. Also I
can play the mp3's off it into the car stereo. And yes I can place and
recieve calls without even taking the phone out of my pocket! It has a
remote that lets you access alot of the functions as well. Coolest
gadget I've ever had. It's easier than itr sounds. If you have any
question email me at cms3717@yahoo.com I'm a big tech dork/Dj. Lol...
