I think that what John doesn't understand is that the carrier specifies
what is included in the package. Motorola is happy to provide whatever
charger the carrier wants, and it isn't a question of the cost. The
lower current travel charger is smaller, which is what the carrier
believes that customers want. The carrier could even have the
manufacturer include a car charger and a case, but they don't because
selling non-OEM car chargers and cases is much more profitable.
