"The phone reportedly was exposed to high temperatures before it blew
up."

Hmm.. That's a tough mystery to solve.

In China no less! Absolutely no possibility that the phone had a cheap,
counterfeit replacement battery that wasn't up to spec. That would never
happen in China!

The story didn't specify. You could be right, or it could be all
Motorola's fault.

Or he could be right, which would totally blow your paranoid conspiracy
theory. It has already been pointed out that the phone was exposed to high
temperatures befor ethe explostion. I notice that you ignored this fact.

Well...let's see...It happened in China...the government controlled "news"
sources tell the world only what they want it to know...counterfeiting is a
booming business and brings huge money into he country...Yeah, sure...they'd
tell us if the battery was one of their bogus pieces of shit.
