I know the 1.1M is the net for Cingular 2005Q2 but is that not close to
the loss due to their churn?

Cingular is doing great with 1.1M net compared to Verizon adding 1.9M
net and having the lowest churn and complaint rate???? Do the math
Cingular is going to drop to number #2 in total subscribers as early as
2006.

Since Cingular is no longer selling anything but GSM phones in Atlanta,
it's a FACT there is no phone coverage for hours (drive time) north
or south of Atlanta. There is no GSM coverage in many areas, hence ZERO
Cingular phone coverage.

FCC required AMPS means my Verizon V710 will work in a Cingular
GSM/AMPS only area, but the Cingular GSM phone can never work in a
nonGSM area.

My post was so others can avoid wasting their time and money, as I did
for 2 months believing Cingular had anything but regional service.
