I have a Nokia 6310 TDMA phone on AT&T with an expensive CARK-91 hands free
system nicely integrated into my car.

It looks like I have to change phones (and plans) as TDMA gets removed from
the network.

1) I am looking for feedback on how well the Nokia 6310i GSM phone runs on
Cingular?
I am in the Western PA region.

2) The 6310i will still be compatible with the car kit, I would buy an
unlocked phone on eBay.
Can I expect any problems running an unlocked GSM phone on Cingular?

Thanks for any help

Only if, like the 6310i, it omits the GSM850 band which is used for a
significant - and growing - portion of Cingular's coverage area.
