With all the hype Cingular is making on their websites about mobile email,
is there a way to get and open attachments with this new system? I've been
able to get email for several years with cingular (albeit
phonenumber@mycingul
ar.com ); not sure what the fuss is about.

How do we get attachements so we can read emailed spreadsheets on our
smartphones? That would really be news.

You might want to search microsoft.public.smartphone newsgroup.

Use the slick WAP interface to Google Mail, which can convert and
display many popular formats.
