| I have two (actually 3) but having problems with two of the Razr's that I
have. When Razr "A" calls Razr "B" the caller id is shown as should be;
however, when Razr "B" calls Razr "A" the call comes up "Private" every
time. I can get this two "temporarily change" by selecting the "Next Call"
function to show the ID. However, after the next call it immediately goes
back to "Private". How and where in the configuration of the phone is this
set? I'd like to either change "A" to always show Private or change Razr
"B" to always identify. Is this something I have to take up with Cingular?
or can I change this manually myself on the phone?
btw... I've compared the phone item-by-item and they are identical. With
the exception that Razr "A" when viewing "Next Call" has neither option
selected, whereas Razr "B" always has "Hide the call" selected unless
"temporarily unselected for the "next call" but then reverts back to
"Hiding" it again... Make sense...? Hope so cause this is actually
starting to become a bit of a pain and I'd like to get it fixed...

Have you tried swapping SIMs to see what happens?
More likely, it's configured in Cingular's network to have Caller ID
blocking on by default. I'd suggest exploring around their website to see if
there's somewhere where you can change it.
