Will Cingular ever get new Nokia phones?

I've been waiting a long time to get a Nokia E61/N80/E70 for my wife.
She's on Sprint now so I'd switch her to Cingular. I'd much rather get
a (discounted) phone with the new account instead of buying an
expensive unlocked phone.

I keep reading about how Cingular will have these Nokia phones "soon"
but it hasn't happened. Any insight?

I'm guessing that they won't ever have the E61 because they'll only
want to provide the WiFi-stripped E62.

Consider the option of buying from a third-party dealer that might give
you a discount on the phone you want; e.g.,
