Hi all,

More than a couple of weeks ago, I sent my LG phone for
repair/replacement using the warranty to LG. They told me then that it
will take around 14 days to hear from them, now more than two weeks
have passed and I haven't heard from them, but the problem is that I
CAN'T find the silly 'RA" number anywhere, so when I call they tell me
that they need that silly number and without that number they can not
do anything. When I originally called, they told me to include that RA
number inside the the box where I packed the phone with my contact
information, but then checking on their website, it says that RA number
has to be also written on the box outside, which I don't think I did
since the operator didn't tell me so.
What can I do? I only have a receipt of the US postal office that I
sent it to them. I don't want to buy a new phone paying the ridiculous
retailer prices at Cingular, since I just bought that phone a couple of
months ago with a 2 year contract.

Please, advice.

Carlos

After 2 months, you should not have sent your phone to LG, but
Cingular...good luck

Likely the meant 14 business days, which including Labor Day makes 3
weeks.
