Last night I went to get my voicemail and there was an automated message
about a new service. Seems to me that its only them sending advertising
messages.

Anyone know if this can be disabled?

I got the same thing a few nights ago and was also wondering what it
means. The message was just advertising boiler plate with no data.

Anybody know what this "enhances service" really is?

I got one 3 months ago or more. Mine was a notification about the
change in voicemail systems and date it was to be effective. So in
this case it wasn't an advertising message.

So in my experience, once in several months it doesn't seem like much
of a problem. Considering the nature of the message I got I wouldn't,
at this time, want to have them disabled.

You can always call 611 and talk to them about it.

Just call and be FIRM. My phone was getting porn text all of a sudden,
I call '611' even and tell them in no uncertain terms that I want T/Msg
*OFF*. I don't use it, and IF I do, I will TELL THEM all about it.

"..no problem, no charges.." Still get them now n then, but never
on my bill. It's easy with T/Msg. They will even give ya a few
keystrokes to try it out, but one either HAS or they HAS NOT used
the service. But for $5..no way is that worth bothering with.

These aren't text messages.... they are heard on voice mail system.

Yeah, figure I would wait and see if it happens again. First one was sort of
annoying because I was in a hurry and had to wait till it was finished.
Sigh. lol
