Can Blackjack with Unlimited data plan handle MSN, YM messaging?

Hi,
I'm think to get the Samsung blackjact mainly to access IM like MSN
and YM.
Reading on Cingular website, the unlimited data plan doesn't seem
enough. They want you to buy messaging package they sale. Is it right?
Do they blocked the build in messaging software to only they messaging
system?
Can I install a third party software to allow me access to MSN and YM?
I'm running verichat on my treo 650..

The unlimited data plan is only good if you do alot of internet
browsing or POP email. The unlimited internet packages do not include
sms which if you use the client that comes on the BlackJack is what you
are charged. You may think you are using internet but you are really
using sms. I downloaded the IM/GOOGLE/AIM client for the BlackJack off
of the handango website and it uses your unlimited internet and works
like a champ!
