| You really can't beat the iPhone and the AT&T deal. For what you get it
makes the others look like toys in the hands of children.

Provided that you don't compare the snail speed of the iPhone to my 3G handset.
Provided that most users need a basic phone for communications, not toy
features the iPhone has.
For the price you pay for an iPhone, I'll pass.

How's your phone work with Wi-Fi? Do you have unlimited usage?
The edge network is slow but useable. That will change.

Hardly toy features. And web browsing and the other features available
now and in the future are all part of a new era os communication. I fear
folks like you will be left behind.

If price is an issue I guess so. Apple has always been pricey, but for
good reason. They have always been cuttin edge technology. IMHO, and
that of all iPhone users, It is well worth the price.

No fear needed...I have a 24x7 connection in my truck for my laptop. Using
a small form factor device is worthless to me for serious work.

LOL. Can you put your truck or laptop in your pocket? Or make phone
calls? That's the point that is being made here.
For what the the iPhone does, it is a bargain at it's $300 price.

| 300.00 ? Try 399.99 unless you happen to find the close out model with the
4GB but the 8GB are selling for 399.99
Then there so limited. Still a waste of 400.00

No, I can't put a laptop in my pocket of make calls with it...no more could
I use an iPhone or PDA to run all the software I need.
