| I've created a mini Google map on my website,
for the purpose of finding an ATT cellphone
(apart from the Iphone) that is capable of
displaying it. Here's the map in its ideal
format:
http://telefog.com/a.html
It depicts the SF Peninsula from SFO to
Fisherman's Wharf, at magnification level 10.
It's 115 pixels wide and 200 pixels high.
I've check most of the recent high end phones
in both ATT stores and T-Mobile stores, and
most don't even attempt to display the map.
(I also came up empty at a Verizon store.)
The few phones that attempt to display the
map seem to screw it up to the point of
uselessness.
But maybe I've just been unlucky. Can your
phone display the map correctly? And if you
succeed, would you post a follow up here
with your model number and the name and
version number of your phone's browser?
Could you suggest a change to the HTML for
my map's page that might make the map display
correctly?
Thanks.
(I can't receive email at the address from
which I posted this message.)
