Author IMAP settings for Express MAil

Does anyone know of a list of IMAP settings that would include hotmail,
Yahoo and gMail? I'm using it to set up my express mail on a 8525.

AFAIK, none of those providers support IMAP.

For Hotmail you can use the Pocket MSN utility on your device, GMail and
Yahoo support POP3, the latter for a fee ($20/year IIRC.)

Imap does indeed work on Yahoo with an old blue AT&T sim card, it will not
work with a Cingular sim as I found out when I upgraded my account to use a
3G sim. This was part of AT&T's Mmode service I believe. I have done some
sniffing and Yahoo does indeed run an imap presence but you will get
password prompts and then get rejected unless you are using the method I
described. I dislike pop3 greatly. BTW, Gmail has no imap access and we
have hounded them about it. Hotmail uses the webdav protocol, even in
Outlook or Outlook Express and supposedly can be acessed with pop3 with a
premium account, yuck!

some PDA's capitalize the first letter you type, maybe your password is
being CAPS when it should not. It is hard to tell because of the **** as
you enter the password. I found this true on Treo, HTC and Blackberry
devices.

use yahoo mail in your browser, unless it is pop server (for extra yahoo
fee) the browser is the best answer.
