Tracfone Spam...???
|
|
| TranslucentAmoebae 2007-11-14, 10:33 pm |
| i have a Tracfone ( uses a cingular email address ) and for quite
awhile i've been getting spam text messages, which; if i don't 'View'
them, i'm not charged for them, but they are very annoying.
And now; In the last few days, there's been an exponential escalation
of them...!
Before; i was getting 5 - 6 a week, and now it's more like 50 a
day...!!!
Is there anything i can do about this...???
thanx!

| I would guess that the logical thing to do would be to call Tracfone. Or is
that to complicated for you?

Do have reason to believe that calling them would actually do any
good...???
i only ask because i have had problems in the past, and called the
technical help line, again and again and again... with highly limited
results...?
If there is a specific remedy, what would i ask for, that is; how
would i phrase it...???
i've noticed that if you specifically ask for a very specific thing,
using the correct and often secret, terminology, the results are often
more quickly forthcoming...
Or are you just being a wiseass?
