Motorola RAZR V3 question

| Hi all. This may sound like a dumb question but please bear with me.
I am interested in purchasing the Motorola RAZR V3 in the color pink
as a prepaid phone. I went to the Cingular website, as well as
several other wireless websites that have this phone, and it seems
like you cannot get this particular color of phone as a "pay as you
go". However it seems you can get the phone in either black or silver
this way. With the pink phone, you would still have to sign up for a
monthly fee "pick the plan" (not the same as an annual contract but
with a monthly fee). I went to walmart.com and they have the pink
phone as a prepaid phone. So my question is, after that long
narration, does this mean that since it is called "prepaid" that I
would use the minute refill cards as you do a true "pay as you go"
phone? Basically I want the pink Motorola RAZR V3 and I am trying to
avoid contracts/monthly bills. Thank you.

You can on eBay. I've seen them for about $120. Pick a seller with at
least 2,000 feedback of at least 98%.
