Every time I power off the phone the information in my Address Book is
gone from the SIM card. I have saved the numbers to SIM so that I can
use the 1Touch dial feature. Works fine until I turn off the phone.
When I turn it back on I have to access the Address Book before the
1Touch works.

Is that normal for this phone? Shouldn't the SIM card retain the data
even when the phone is powered off?

Yes the SIM card will retain it's data. Double check your setup, I believe
speed dialing only works with numbers in the phone memory on that model.

The manual says it only works with numbers saved to SIM or Fixed Dial.
