I'm switching to a family plan, does anyone know if I will be able to
keep my rollover minutes??

Only if its a more expensive plan. If not, then you rollover minutes
you keep are capped at one months worth of minutes.

Officially you lose them. I called customer care and complained that the
store salesman said I would keep them. They credited me my old rollover
minutes within an hour. The official answer is above, one months worth
on minutes. I was very satisfied with their response.
