What is clear is he didn't read the blog, just immediately attacked it.
It's obviously contempt before investigation.

No one can make you feel inferior without your consent,
but you'd be a fool to withhold that from your superiors.

S.O.P. for him.

There's an amusing story about the iPhone at
"http://www.theinquirer.net/default.aspx?article=38757" regarding the
battery life. 40 minutes of calling per charge actually doesn't sound
unreasonable, considering the power requirements of the large screen,
and it isn't clear what, if any, power reduction schemes were in place.

I did a lot of battery life "tuning" on tablet PCs, and we could get a
3x increase in battery life by various settings, though all of those
changes affected usability (slowing down the processor, running the
display at half brightness, shutting off peripherals when not in use and
bringing them back up on-demand). I'm sure that by the time the iPhone
is released that Apple will have the battery life up to at least two
hours of talk time.

The biggest design flaw of the iPhone is the non-user replaceable
battery. People will put up with relatively short battery life as long
as they have a way to change the battery.
