| I just noticed that the keypad light does not light up. I just had this
phone replaced and I am now having problems with the Keypad not
lighting....or lighting when it wants to. Anyone else seen this or this
another buggy phone?

I called Moto on this and they.....idiot I spoke to....said they NEVER had
any problems like this and there is nothing in there database about anyone
having this problem. He went further to say that there are no type of
sensors which monitor the light. My son has a RAZR with the same problem.
Upon further review, I found the sensor on my SLVR (next to the slot to put
in a carrying handle on the right front...small square area) and also found
a link on Google for the RAZR issue:

| Could be like my 325I. It has a sensor that only lights the keyboard when it
it detects there isn't enough ambiant light on the keys. It also can light
the keys at random if you cover the sensor while handling the phone. If I'm
not istaken you can turn the battery saver off and the keys will stay lit.
Check your owners manual.
