Then call a local newspaper or TV station.

Considering this is a WORLDWIDE group, I don't think a reporter in
California will care about someone in New Jersey.

As a former reporter and PR guy, I beg to differ, if a reporter for
say the Wall Street Journal were doing a story on Cngular problems,
they would probablyuse ProfNet to cast a wide net for people with
problems. Trust me, I've done this.
