What phone has best reception?

| I need a new phone and was wondering what would be a good basic phone? I
don't need much other than good reception being a premium as I am in a bad
reception area but am not opposed to a phone with a few tricks as long as it
does have good reception.

The Nokia 6126 is "free" right now. It is doing very well for me in a
fringe area, better than the V551 or V3xx from Motorola, and the software
to sync contacts with a PC is free.

I have had many phones, and the Motorola Krazr K1 is the best I've had
for reception and voice quality.
While it's far from a basic phone (which is what I thought I wanted
too) but it is just $77 with a 2 year contract extension at Wal Mart
($50 more for 1 year). Cingular.com wants $199 for this same phone
with a 2 year extension last I checked. And the Wal Mart folks aren't
on commission and incentivized to screw ya and quietly add the high
commission service of the month to your account and leave you to
remove it with Cingular customer service...
Best Regards,
