| All:
Those of us who have data capable phones will have to pay approximately
$40.00 per month for unlimited data while the purchasers of the new iPhone
get the same unlimited data for $20.00. There's something wrong here.

While it is lame, it's certainly nothing new for cellular companies to
treat non-customers better than existing customers when it comes to
deals.

Cingular charges for data by the type of device- "regular" phones pay
$20/month, and PDAs/Smartphones pay $40. One could call the iPhone rate
Cingular's tacit admission that the iPhone is neither a PDA or
Smartphone! ;-)
