Hi. I have a motorola razr cell phone. The display broke, so I'm
getting a new phone, but most of my contacts are saved on the phone
itself. Is there a connector that will allow me to get this data onto
my computer or some way to put it onto my sim card w/o using the
display? Sorry if this is a difficult question.

If they were stored to the sim card then they will transfer to the new phone
when you swap your old sim to your new phone.

If they were not stored to your sim then your out of luck.

You could use moto phone tools to save it to your computer but the price for
just the software (Around 50.00) might not be worth the money spent. Plus
the cost of the Interface cable to connect the phone to the computer. Cable
run from 10.00-25.00

John Navas was kind enough to tell me some time ago that "MPT is available
at low cost from sources like shopoem.com". I forget what it cost me but
it was a lot less than $50.
